What is an MRE?

The MRE designation is the premier objective for real estate practitioners in America today. Earning the Master of Real Estate designation demonstrates to the public and the real estate industry the highest possible experience and education that a REALTOR® can obtain.

The MRE program is designed to provide advanced training beyond any other designation. Critical skills of the real estate business and education in current real estate topics and issues are fully explored. The MRE designation signifies a broker dedicated to professional development and customer service.

Who should earn the MRE?

Licensees, brokers, office managers, and seasoned professionals all benefit from the up-to-date information offered by the MRE designation. Additionally, MRE courses may offer networking possibilities. In short, REALTORS® who want to advance their competitive edge earn the MRE. MRE courses may provide continuing education for real estate license renewal in certain jurisdictions.

Upon successful completion of all Master of Real Estate (MRE) program requirements, the MRE committee will confer the MRE-Master of Real Estate designation upon the candidate. The committee is made up of association education staff, instructors, professional education developers, association executives and REALTORS®.
